WATCH: DJ Khaled sends Mamelodi Sundowns a message
The American record producer and DJ Khaled has wished Sundowns well ahead of their CAF semi-final clash with Esperance.
The American record producer and DJ Khaled has backed Mamelodi Sundowns to beat Esperance on Friday evening.
The two African giants face off in the second leg semi-final of the CAF Champions League at the Loftus Versefeld. Esperance won the first leg 1-0 in Tunisia last weekend.
DJ Khaled, who is part of the Roc Nation, has backed the Pretoria team Sundowns to emerge victorious. This is not the first time the 48-year-old has shown love to Masandawana. Last year, the DJ posted a video to congratulate them on their sixth successive PSL title.
“Sundowns, that’s right Sundowns, bless up, be great in the semi-finals. I was going to say good luck, nah nah, be great, that’s right, let’s go,” DJ Khaled said in a video.

DJ Khaled and Roc Nation have thrown their weight behind Mamelodi Sundowns. The Brazilians have to beat the North African giants by two clear goals to progress to the final.
Downs captain Ronwen Williams has called all South Africans to rally behind Masandawana on Friday. The Brazilians are looking to reach their first Champions League final since 2016 when they won it.
